General Questions

How can I get a quote?

Simply visit the signup flow to book a cleaning and as you provide information about your house and schedule, your quote will dynamically adjust.

Am I charged the full quoted amount even if it doesn't take that long to clean my house?

No, you’re only charged based on the amount of time your cleaner was actually at your home working. If they finish early, you aren’t charged the full amount quoted.

Are cleaning supplies included?

Cleaning supplies aren’t included by default. This ensures your cleaner uses the products you like and there isn’t any cross-contamination from house to house.

What if I'm not happy with my cleaning?

Please get in touch with us right away and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation. We have a satisfaction guarantee that we stand by.

Scheduling Questions

Can i get a same-day booking?

we don’t guarantee same-day bookings. But, depending on the day, we can often meet this requirement.

Do i have to be home for my cleaning?

It’s completely up to you. If you’re not going to be home, make sure you let us know how to access your house by putting the information in your customer dashboard.

Does my cleaner arrive at the exact time i book?

Yes, most of the time. However, we allow a one-hour window due to traffic and weather circumstances. In scenarios where your cleaner will be late, you will be contacted to let you know the ETA.


When am i charged for the service?

You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed. Your invoice will reflect only the amount of time that your cleaner was actually at your home working, rounded-up to the nearest 15 minute increment.

Are there nay commitments of contracts?

No, you can cancel service anytime without any penalties. You don’t have to commit to any contracts or pre-determined number of appointments.

Cleaning Questions

What's included in a standard cleaning?

Here’s a listing of what gets cleaned in every room of your house during a standard cleaning. You can also request extra items via your customer dashboard.

Do you provide the supplies?

Cleaning supplies aren’t included by default. This ensures your cleaner uses the products you like and there isn’t any cross-contamination from house to house.

What services do you offer?

We offer a range of services from weekly cleaning to one-time cleaning to move-in and move-out cleaning. You can see the different services by visiting the front page and clicking on the “Services” button halfway down the page.

How many cleaners do you send?

Only one cleaner is sent to your home. If you’re on a recurring schedule, we’ll do our best to match you with the same person going forward.

Are cleaning company cleaners screened?

Absolutely. The cleaners go through a screening process that includes a police background check, reference checks and in-person interviews. We also require significant experience in residential house cleaning to work with us.

Whom and how many people will be cleaning my home?

A regularly assigned Referred 2 Clean team will take care of your home. Our teams are uniformed, insured and bonded. Our team members will not eat, drink, smoke, be on the phone, and listen to music while in your home.

How will our relationship work?

We must earn your trust and approval each time we visit your home. We do not use a contract. We depend on open communication and your honest evaluation of our service. We appreciate when you let us know how you feel with the work performed, by keeping an open mind and listen to your suggestions to help us improve our service.

What hours do you work?

Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will accommodate some weekends on a case by case basis. We will make every effort to meet your needs.

What do i have to do before the cleaning?

Relax, we will come ready to work but if you have time, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, or other household items that may get on our way, it is not necessary but it will help us achieve a lot more.

Do i need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

No, it is not necessary we will bring all the equipment and cleaning supplies if requested. Most of our clients ask us to use their own supplies, either way you choose, we will get your home clean.

Do i need to be home when a referred 2 clean team arrives?

Most of our clients are not home when we clean. Only the team members who will be cleaning your home will have access to it. Most clients will provide access to the gatehouse or they will assign someone to let us in, and we will call them when we are finished.

What about holidays or changing a scheduled cleaning visit?

If your cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service. If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit we appreciate a 48-hour notice.

How do i pay for the service?

Relax, you trust us with your home, we will work a way that is convenient for you. Most of our clients simply leave a check or cash in the home. We also take payments online, we can send a personalize bill to your email and you can pay us through PayPal.
